For a couple with a four-year-old daughter, this Sherman Oaks home needed warmth and texture to feel right for everyday family life. The house had been previously owned and renovated by Jeff Lewis, so the contemporary bones were already in place. In the foyer, photography by the client's father and a layered rug bring softness to the entry. The eat-in kitchen and living room open up with new window treatments from Everhem, installed after removing the original shutters to let in more natural light. A game table in the living room offers a place to gather, while the primary bedroom balances cozy textiles with the home's clean, modern bones. The result is a space that feels collected and livable—designed for real life with a young child.
